On the market square, in the heart of the historic wine village of Bretzenheim, opposite the former castle of the imperial prince, you will find the timber-framed house, built 1779, whose façade is now a heritage-listed building.  Right outside the door, you'll find the entrance to renowned hiking and cycling trails that cross at the market square. Our house is centrally located between Bingen am Rhein and the spa town of Bad Kreuznach with its Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg district. Mainz and Idar-Oberstein can be reached in 30-40 minutes. In Bretzenheim and the surrounding area, you have numerous opportunities to enhance your stay, with wine tasting in the surrounding vineyards, hearty wine festivals or outstanding sights such as the Felseneremitage. A highlight of the year is the Bretzenheim Wine Festival, which takes place on the market square, beautifully sheltered under old trees.
