The International Agate Fair takes place for the 24th time, a special mineral and fossil fair with a focus on agates, petrified wood, fossils, gemstones, and quartz minerals.

The Agate Fair will be held on the weekend of March 3, 2025. In terms of configuration and size, the Agate Fair is unique worldwide and has received extremely positive feedback from collectors, exhibitors, and visitors. Every year, many of the most prominent collectors and enthusiasts from around the globe come to participate in the event.
Accompanying the fair is the special exhibition "Pictures in Agate."

The multipurpose hall and the large sports hall in Niederwörresbach near Idar-Oberstein are the ideally located event venue. Niederwörresbach is situated in the Fischbachtal directly on the German Gemstone Route. In this well-known agate and gemstone region, collectors can pursue their hobby and visit numerous mineral sites, as well as a number of museums and visitor mines. There are 400 free parking spaces available around the halls. During the event, the Juchem butcher shop will offer skewered roast and other delicious Hunsrück specialties in a festival tent.
